Monroeville Soccer Club "In-House" leagues offer players of all abilities an opportunity to learn and play soccer. The community-based leagues offer a great opportunity to form friendships, develop skills, and learn how to be a member of a team. In-house leagues play games on Saturday mornings in both the fall and spring. Teams typically practice once during the week.
U6 teams play coed “small-sided soccer”. This is an opportunity for kids to have fun and play with the most basic rules the appropriate amount of structure. All games are played at Monroeville Park.
U8 players play 5v5 (including goalkeeper) small-sided games. All games are played at Monroeville Park.
U10 teams play 7v7 (including goalkeeper) in both girls and boys leagues. These leagues include games against teams from surrounding communities including Plum, Murrysville, Woodland Hills, Penn Trafford, East Allegheny and Jeanette.
The U12 and U14 Eagles Leagues includes players in U11/U12 and U13/U14 age groups and play small sided games against surrounding communities such as Plum, Murrysville, Jeanette, etc. Click for the current U12 eagles rules and U14 eagles rules.
Can a Player play in BOTH the Eagles and Travel Programs?
Yes. Because Eagles games are played on Saturday and Travel games are played on Sunday it is possible to play on teams in both. Players must register for both programs and must be selected to play on a Travel team based on their Tryout evaluation.
